Create urgent, scheduled or informational alerts and deliver them to selected screens without redesigning a complete slide.
Before you begin
Prepare the alert message, severity, active dates and the screens or groups that should receive it.
Good to know
- Use Critical only for urgent messages.
- Set an end time so old alerts do not remain active.
- Test audio and visual alert behavior on one screen first.
Publishing
After saving the app, add its slide to a playlist and publish that playlist to the required screen. Use Preview to confirm the layout before sending it to a live display.
Step by Step Guide
Step 1: Open Alert Center
Open Apps, select Alert Center, and choose the alert management page.
Step 2: Create an alert
Add a short title and a clear message. Avoid long paragraphs on public screens.
Step 3: Set priority and timing
Choose the alert type, start time, end time and any repeat settings.
Step 4: Select the audience
Choose the screens or screen groups that must receive the alert.
Step 5: Review and activate
Preview the alert appearance, save it, and activate it when ready.
Step 6: Monitor and close
Confirm delivery, then deactivate or archive the alert when it is no longer required.
